Remember that all tourists before to climb the Tower you have to go to the proper left-luggage office to hand in bags/luggage before starting the visit. Kids under 8 are not allowed inside the Tower. Under the arch of Porta Santa Maria/Nuova in Piazza Manin. At the meeting point look for the DiscoveryPisa flag or the orange umbrella
The lady we had was friendly and very informative. She gave us time to see everything, gave tips on getting great pictures, answered questions and made it very enjoyable. We... read more were given little lanyard radios and earphones so we could hear her at all times. For sanitation purposes, the earphones were brand new in a sealed bag and you kept them afterwards. Saw some beautiful things and learnt a lot. Would definitely recommend.
